Order information

We will always make every effort to ship your order as soon as possible. Processing time for online orders is typically 1-3 business days for handmade products. our hatching eggs can take anywhere between 1-2 weeks and as long as a month or more depending on the time of the year. Please Understand that wait times are fluid and can change without notice. Typically, wait times are updated on specific breed pages should the timeframe change. During seasonal holidays, processing times are extended by an additional 2-3 business days. We observe all federal holidays and do not process orders on those dates.

live bird policy

Occasionally, we offer live birds that are available. Please discuss with your Significant Other, parents, landlord, children, etc.; review your budget and your Schedule Prior to reaching out. Live birds are on a first come, first serve basis. Once they are available, they are Usually sold Quickly and it is highly suggested that you purchase upon availability. Birds are typically shipped on the following Monday or tuesday, weather permitting. Local pickup dates and times vary. You must make yourself available to pick up your birds upon arrival at your local post office or at the designated Location and time. We typically contact you to make prior arrangements and plan ahead. Unfortunately, Due to recent changes with USPS insurability, we can no longer guarantee any live specimens that are shipped once they are placed with the carrier. However, we have not had any incidents in past years and would like to keep it that way.


Hatching Egg info

We offer hatching eggs after we have hatched enough to meet the goal we have set for the year. we do not keep a waiting list, take deposits or cash at pick. Advance payment is required before collection and orders are shipped sequentially. The wait times can vary depending on the number of orders in queue. wait times for each of our breeds can differ due to egg availability. There are many factors that can affect egg laying such as weather and predators so we ask that you are patient with our girls as they are always trying their best to provide us with future babies. We do not guarantee Fertility, viability, hatchability nor do provide replacements or refunds. We incubate the same eggs that we ship and our feritility rates, hatch rates and survivability are our guide to what we will ship. Most times, no hatches and low hatch rates are due to poor handling during shipment and user error. Please do not continue to complete a purchase if you do not understand the basics of shipped hatching eggs. We do not hold eggs for any reason. Eggs are collected several times a day, stored properly until they are ready to ship. Packaging differs from breed to breed and accommodations are made should an order be placed for hatching eggs of the same species. Eggs are Individually Bubble-wrapped, placed in an egg carton, cushioned and boxed. Mearns Quail Hatching eggs are shipped separately from all other species and are shipped in foam. Return Policy

Due to the nature of our products being “live”, “perishable” and "made-to-order", we do not offer order cancellations, returns or refunds. If you are not comfortable with the risk that comes with Hatching eggs, live birds or our handmade pain balm, please do not order. However if you have an issue with your order, please contact us and include your order number in the subject line.
