A&R Is Locally Owned And Operated By my husband Robert, and i in the heart of Mint Hill, NC. we Have A Love For Manufacturing our Own natural pain balm and now offering Hatching eggs from our thriving covey of Mearns quail and our bantam flocks of True Lavender Ameraucanas, Silkies, Barbu De Watermael and Kikiriki Micro Bantams. We Have A Passion For Interior Design, Personal Well Being, our birds And Simply Enjoying The Quality That Only Nature Can Offer.

we Began A&R Homestead As A Hobby many years ago, Offering Premium Soy Candles Using Raw Materials Such As Natural Soy Wax, Recycled Glass, Natural Wood Wicks, And Organic Essential Oil Blends. a few short months after discovering a chronic medical condition, my medical team suggested to discontinue use of any cosmetic products containing parabens, phthalates and other carcinogenic ingredients. In my journey, i began creating my own products for personal use that did not include any harmful ingredients. Shortly following my research, Homestead Construction began. After we successfully executed our personal Products, i received numerous requests from friends and family to recreate my products so that they can join me in the proactive wellness path as it relates to eliminating harmful ingredients in their daily lives. Since I have embarked on this Road, i have never felt better. These products were also shared with professionals that I had the pleasure of meeting on this amazing Journey. Although, still in it’s infancy, one opportunity led to another and it has blossomed into this wonderful company. Our Natural pain Balm has been such a blessing as it alleviated daily pain without the use of potent pharmaceuticals. It has helped so many people we’ve met, from all walks of life. I couldn’t have asked for better results. I once was asked 20+ years ago “if you had a super Power, what would it be?” I eagerly responded with “The Power to Heal”. It still holds true today and the pain balm has been quite the healing tool.

Woodworking is one of Robert’s favorite hobbies. He loves architecture, engineering and design as it relates to Carpentry. The Furniture That Robert Produces Is Aesthetically Designed, Created With A Contemporary And Rustic Theme That Is Used In Their Home. Over the years, robert has produced a number of beautiful masterpieces and all are custom to each individual’s request. The quality in his workmanship is beyond impeccable and timeless. He’s taken much of a break from his woodworking but still enjoys small projects from time to time.

Our Rare Breed Bantam Flocks and Mearns Quail coveys offer us a step closer to nature. We keep our ornamental rare breeds for our own enjoyment and breed improvement. Currently, we raise Ameraucanas, Barbu De Watermael, Kikiriki Micro bantams, silkies, roul roul partridges and mearns quail. While working towards personal goals of breed acceptance in the APA, our birds have been honored to be part of many projects on the road to Qualifying and Being written in history. There are many breed/variety projects cooking, so definitely stay tuned in on our social media pages. I know we’ve been busy with life but updates are usually posted and we’d love for you to join us on our journey!
